How do I create a PowerChart?

  1. Click on the yellow Create New Chart button from your gallery.

  1. Click Select an existing dataset from the first window and make your dataset selection.

  1. When your studio loads with your dataset, you will see all of your questions organized into a tab in the Chart ToolBox. Float your cursor over the questions to view your options.

View chart will instantly show you the response count breakdown for the question. The question will be placed into the category axis.

Compare/cross-tab by will show you segmentations across a response. Click on the blue Compare By button to customize your segments.

Filter by is your key to drilling your data down on the fly. There is a filter information box that always lists which elements you've filtered your data down by. You are welcome to move this information box into the chart area as additonal annotation for your viewers. Click on the yellow filter buttons to customize your filtering.

  1. Apply any of the design templates or use the ChartToolBox Format tab to customize the design of your chart.

5. Add keywords, extra information and authorship to your chart to optimize your SEO.

  1. Click the Chart menu and select Save. You will be prompted to make a decision between a Chart With Filters and a Chart Without Filters. To create a PowerChart, select Chart With Filters. PowerCharts allow viewers to drill down the data with the filters you allow them to use.

  1. After you have saved your chart, you can now share it on the web (website, blog) through your Share menu. Select Add to a Web Site. Copy the embed code of the chart and paste it into the content management system of your website or blog.
